Saxon and Viking Swords

The swords shown below are all projects I have completed in the past and many have been made to customer specification. With that in mind if you like a particular sword but want to customise it then that is absolutely possible! I can offer different materials for the grip, alternative patterns and metals for the hilt and can etch designs on the blade. Making amendments can increase the cost of a sword so the prices indicated are for the swords shown, if you would like enquire about a price for a customised sword please do not hesitate to contact me. If you cannot see what you are looking for from the list below I will also take on commissions so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

All swords can be made sharp or suitable for reenactment use. It is necessary to specify which at the time you place your order. All reenactment blades are made from EN42J spring steel and hardened to 55 Rockwell. Edges are a minimum of 2mm and points are a minimum of 20mm radius. I find that these are the standard specifications for most reenactment groups, however if you are not sure contact your relevant society officer before ordering! It is always better to wait a little longer and be sure than to end up with a very pretty sword that you can't use.
