This handmade curved basketry bodkin is used to help thread and weave your materials together to form baskets.
The needle has been hand forged from steel and the handle is made from ash and secured in place with a copper ferrule.
This bodkin would make a great addition to your basketry tool kit or would be a lovely gift for someone thinking of starting a new craft. It would go well with my hand-made Rapping Irons.
