This is a functional hand forged drawknife, suitable for all woodworkers, modern or reenactor.
 
It is forged from carbon steel and heat treated so will retain a decent cutting edge and can be resharpened when needed. 
The handles are hand turned from ash to make them fit comfortably in the hand.
 
It is based on a find from Bishopstone in the UK and would be suitable for reenactors portraying the 8th - 11th centuries.
 
Measurements:
The blade is approx 180mm long
The handles are approx 120mm long
 
Please note, that as these items are all hand made there may be some slight variation in the dimensions.
