This is a functional hand forged chisel, suitable for all woodworkers, modern or reenactor.
It is forged from carbon steel so will retain a decent cutting edge and can be resharpened when needed. The handles are made from ash.
 
It is based on a find from the Crayke Hoard (Yorkshire) in the UK and would be suitable for reenactors portraying the 10th - 12th centuries.
