This is a replica of a 7th Century Anglo-Saxon Pin (possibly used as a cloak pin) found in a barrow on Breach Down in Kent, UK. The head takes the form of a cross and the body is decorated with ring and dot pattern. 
The original this is based on is now kept in the British Museum in London (museum no. 1855,0521.1).
